WHAT DOE'S TOKOMARU BAY MEAN TO YOU...
OR WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT TOKOMARU BAY...
Well Tokomaru Bay to me is the place to be...
When I was younger I didn't really like Tokomaru Bay...
I had to like it because this is where we moved to from the back station Ihungia...So as life went on a few years later I now have a son named Ptolemey Alexandria George Christie Elers Niania...
I am so glad to be still in Tokomaru Bay bringing my son up with the help of my awesome whanau and friends who I love and adore...Everyone in Tokomaru Bay are all one big whanau...
My son is well known by all thoses around him...
I thank God for placing me in this beautiful place with beautiful people...
The beach is just down the road...The hills surrounding this place...
Like they protect this whole place with love...
We have 4 Marae's that welcome us and others with love...
My son will learn more things that I never did, in fact I'm learning things with him...So I take back what I said in the every day...
What was I thinking!!!
TOKOMARU BAY IS THE PLACE TO BE!!!!!RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW!!!

30.4.10 Friday
Today I went for a walk to the beach with the Teina class.
I was so excited walking to the beach with a class who are so full of life and excited too.
When we got to the beach, all you could feel was the cool breeze against your face, the smell and sound of the salty blue/white waves smashing on the sand.
I could see the sun shining brightly on to the sea, which sent sparkly glittery shapes and sizes.
On the hills you could see shapes and colours.
All the trees were all standing in straight lines like soldiers preparing for war.
The ripples of the hills weaved together like a beautiful weaved kete
To me it was so fantastic looking at Nature through eyes wide open and using your imagination.
As we all walked back to the school I came across a shell.
I picked it up and thought What elements has this shell got.
It could be a home for the hermit crab.
You could use the shell for decorations on picture frames or in gardens.
You could even make shell mobiles to hang in your room.
This beautiful shell is round and spiral like shape.
The colours are brownie pinkish with a white sparkly flick all over.
This shell is from the ocean.
All things in the ocean always end up on the shore, for people like us that walk along the beach and find colourful beautiful things.
We pick them up and our imagination starts to wonder.
I think all things of Nature are so beautiful....
